Tab Wolod speaking

Tab Wolod

Founder & Chief Brand Architect, IEI Agency. Creator of Brand As A Being™ and The Brand Playbook™.

Tab is a brand strategist and ecosystem builder. She helps entrepreneurs and institutions connect brand clarity to business growth, ownership, and economic impact.

Eleven years at Verizon taught her data, scale, and go-to-market. Nearly a decade since taught her the rest: how to sit inside a founder's vision and build the brand that carries it. She breaks brands like DJs break records, then hands you the plan to run it.

She does not deliver a talk and leave. Every session sends people out with something written down that they did not have when they walked in.

Signature topics

Four talks, one throughline

Each topic stands alone as a keynote and expands into a workshop. Every one can be cut to the room, the time, and the audience.

01

Your Brand Is A Being

Why branding starts long before the logo.

A brand is not something you put on a business. It is something you build from the inside out. This talk takes apart the assumption that branding is a design exercise and replaces it with a way of thinking that holds up under pressure.

Best for Founder audiences, creative communities, conference main stage

02

Ideas Equal Income

Turning an idea into something someone will pay for.

Most founders do not have an idea problem. They have a clarity problem. This talk walks the distance between a good idea and an offer with a price, an audience, and a reason to exist.

Best for Accelerators, entrepreneurship programs, small business audiences

03

The Repeat Test

If they cannot repeat it, you have not positioned it.

Positioning is not what you say about yourself. It is what someone else can say about you when you are not in the room. A practical session on the language that travels and the language that dies at the door.

Best for Founder cohorts, marketing teams, internal brand teams

04

Foundation First

What you build before you build the marketing.

The order matters. This talk lays out the sequence, from the founder to the brand DNA to the offers to the path to market, and shows what breaks when a business skips a step.

Best for Campus cohorts, ecosystem partners, program kickoffs

Outcomes

What people leave with

  1. 01

    Language

A sentence that says what they do, that someone else can repeat correctly.

  2. 02

    A position

Where they sit in their market, and what makes them the obvious choice for someone.

  3. 03

    An order of operations

What to build first, and what they can stop worrying about until later.

  4. 04

    A next move

One concrete action, sized to what they actually have time and money to do.
